Hi all. We're heading to the Outer Hebrides in our new T6.1 in June/July. Any suggestions for official campsites on Harris and Lewis? Your recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

Talla na Mara is good with a nice restaurant, West Harris Trust have some lovely spots including some on the road to Lyskentyre Beach (no facilities) which is a must see and some pitches at Huisinis Beach which does have some facilities but you might have to walk a bit depending which pitch you stay on. Enjoy your trip, Hebrides are great.

First impressions ' interesting ' but gets better , well worth a visit , recall the coastal road is the Golden route , even if you can't get 'in ' ( 4 campervans) defo drive the road

I’ll add the coastal road to the list. Thank you.

We stayed at Horgabost campsite on Harris in June 2021. Loos and showers are in converted shipping containers, basic but fine. Selling point is the location just off the stunning beach:853AEBFC-21EB-48CE-A3F4-25959A7AC8B0.jpeg3BD06E1B-7571-4755-A4DE-C9DE8C237D2E.jpegE925B7E3-3E33-4B8E-BC3A-18BBA34BB007.jpeg
