anyone aware of product recall on rear light outer light covers?

my 2015 cali was in for something else and was told the rear lights cover were on a product recall as they are flaking? outer surface peeling away? they did it whilst in and all sorted but for anyone not aware might be worth asking the question and checking it out before you have a problem.......

Are you referring to the High level light? Mine got replaced under warranty when I was getting my winter wheels changed to the summer set. There's a thread on High Level Brake Light. Or is this a separate issue?

Yes, there is a product recall in place for high level or 3rd brake light. Takes approx 45 mins to replace.

If it was replaced before September / October last year they'll do it again with a new design.

as far as i am aware it was lower set of lights as the design is more angular in the new style of T6......
