The Mosquito was my favourite WW2 plane as a kid. Made of plywood and with 2 Merlin engines. Highly manoeverable and faster than a Spitfire in a stright line. Underrated plane IMO.

I think you’d like this then. From my house I can hear the Lanc and the Mosquito running up throughout the year, as well as overflys by the BBMF.

Wonder why the Mossie experience costs 2x more than the Lancaster. Would have thought other way round... 2 engines vs 4 so uses less fuel.

Lancaster can carry more passengers to offset the additional fuel cost.
