Many thanks for your reply, they did forward a CAD template with dimensions however they do not relate to the measurements I would like to use as they out by some way. But need conformation where their starting point for measurements came from.We have one for the 600 and we are very happy with it. The only downside is that lifting the bed becomes a bit more awkward because the amount of matress has increased In thickness, but it’s not too much of a problem. We got the mattress split and the sheets split so that we could still lift the bed. One cool thing - if you do order the sheets and get an extra set (we got the zipped ones) the existing mattress also fits in those sheets perfectly. Fit of the mattress to the shape of the GC600 is 100% perfect and I guess they will have a CAD drawing for GC680 as well.
Hi Gover,We got the Freshtec topper for the GC680 a couple of weeks back and used it over Easter. Very comfortable.
The fit is fine. Less keen on the fitted sheet. It has a sort of valence/skirt where you climb onto the bed and you tend to catch it with your knee.
Hi Gover,MY21.
I didn’t check the drawing in detail. I checked that they knew one side was longer than the other, the depth/width of the cutout was correct and they had ‘notches’ where the mattress sits in the corners near the doors. But, I did not confirm the exact angles or measure accurately.
whilst I don’t consider the standard mattress(es) uncomfor table, I am a side sleeper and my shoulder would often line up with the join between the pieces. the topper prevents this. The extra thickness is surprisingly noticeable when getting on the bed.
we dislike memory foam and being too hot - the duvalay works well for us - so far. it is expensive as you have to opt for the largest width option and the fitted sheet was probably a waste of money. but I cannot complain about the comfort or initial impressions on quality… however, time will tell.
