Was initially pleased with our Kenwood but it became less and less responsive, was incredibly hard to update and felt very dated within two years.
Sound quality is about speakers and good sound deadening; I've just changed the speakers in my Subaru and fully sound deadened the doors; the difference is astonishing; that's with no extra amp.
Some of the stand alone BT units have been mentioned did stationary listening; we used one a lot but they've improved loads recently; the Creative Roar is unbelievably good and only just over £100.
