Aux battery replacement

Hi. Can anyone advise how long a leisure battery last? I feel my battery does not hold a charge as long as it did. Cali is now 3 years old. I am planning to whip it out and ask my friendly motor home centre if they can test it. Just wondering if anyone else has done this. Cheers chris

I am probably the worst person on the planet for giving advice on leisure batteries. I've bought and boogared loads!! You need Shani to spill the beans!

I would say though, from experience, they need treating with some care. There have been conflicting reports about the leisure batteries in the Cali but if it has been looked after and regularly topped up I would have thought you should get more than 3 years out of it. The worst thing that can happen to caravan lbs is that they are allowed to lose their charge. Once that happens then they never really hold another.

Thanks. I have whip it out and will take to a battery place to get tested. I think it's buggered but need reassurance!
