Awning connection left hand side

Apologies if this is an old subject but I have looked.

I have a drive away awning and bought the kit from the club shop to attach to the factory awning on the right hand side.

I would also like the ability to attach the drive away awning to the left hand side, the 6mmx 6mm strip I have seems too loose, is there a solution ?

If you don't have the wind out awning the gutter on the RHS comes with a rubber / plastic insert (called something like 'awning attachment rail' in the brochure). It sounds like you need one for the LHS of your van.
I have one on the RHS and find the awning stays in place better if you also use a driveway kit.

I have found the " Rubber holding insert for driveaway awning " on sale at Banwy vans #79 plus delivery !

I have run 2 strips of silver duct tape down one length and it seems very strong, possible strong enough without having to buy the insert, anyone have experience of this ?
