Awning handle location clips (seat drawer)

Hi, just a question and a little advice please.

Are the clips that hold the awning winding handle in the seat drawer a bit fragile? I have had my Cali for less than a week not used the awning or handle but have found a broken clip. It's possible that it got broken when putting stuff in the or taking stuff out of the drawer but I don't remember having to use any force. I certainly did not drop anything.
Anyway I guess these clips are available as a spare item but how to get the old ones out? Any experience?

Larry, you are right - £2.99 for one! I think Velcro will do for the moment until I can put a bigger order together to justify postage costs! Then again the VW dealer is only 6 miles down the road.......

That's odd - I didn't look at the date because I got the link in my regular email notification!
