Awning pole clips

A silly question...I've just picked up my T6 beach with an awning. How do the clips on the supporting legs work? They do not stay in the upright position to hold the legs in place. The clips in the manual look different to mine!

Didn't know they had changed the Awning Clips. Have you got a photo.

You need to push them hard, this is the most common phone call I get from customers when hiring a van as they feel like they will break/snap as they are quite stiff when new.
