Not sure if this info is of use.
We have a driveaway awning that is rarely used and in the past struggled to get a Keder strip that worked properly.
We decided to use the awning for a weekend away in the New Forest and as usual leaving things to the last minute found that the only Keder strip I could find was a 6mm in both sides. (I think I bought an 8mm x 6mm one years ago but from memory that still pulled out of the slot plus I could not find it!)
A trip to B&Q resulted in finding a plastic trim that clips on the awning rail making the slot slightly smaller.
Works perfectly is a really good fit and is easily removed at a later date.
Obviously this looks better on a black awning rail and I could have cut it a bit neater!
The part number: 3232637001854 and you will need three strips.
You never know, this might get you out of a fix as it did me!
