Fitting kyham awning help

I have tried to connect my kyham awning to the awning rail on Cali roof with the 6mm x 6mm keder strip but it keeps coming out of the rail .
Is this right or have I got the wrong size keder strip ??
Any help would be great

Thanks for that I don’t seem to have that bit fitted to my rail .
So that will be why I am unable to attach my awning .
Will make sure I get ready ready for next trip
