Near Side Kadar Rail

Has anyone made a simple sun awning to fit on the near side Kadar rail and if so is it an 8mm Kadar that I need ? 6mm pulls out.

I have a sun shade extension (by Omnistor, I think) that fits into the channel at the end of the original canopy. The bead is of course too small for the nearside rail, so on the occasions I've wanted to set it up on the nearside instead, I have bodged it by putting a spare length of electrical flex in the channel to pack it out.

we used a few lengths of the figure 8 plastic awning strips to attach ours....... its only fits in one way and then the sun shade fits nice and tight, already had them from the driveaway tent
