Bakewell

I've seen caravans and motor homes on the field at the agricultural centre at bakewell, I'm assuming they're camped there. The location would be great for us to pick up the Monsail Trail but I can't find info on pitching there.

Does anyone know if this is indeed a site available to use?

It will be some kind of rally or private commercial venture. There is no public camp site at the agricultural centre in Bakewell as far as I'm aware.

For the Monsal trail try camping at Park House Camping at Monsal Head. A small quiet site with limited but very clean facilities, and excellent views. The Packhorse at Little Longstone is a 15 minute walk, and the Stables at Monsal is a 5 minute walk if you fancy a pint.

You could try beech craft farm is a great site 2mins from trail at Buxton end.
