Beach Battery

Probably been answered before but....:

Does anyone know what leisure battery is fitted as standard on a 2012 Beach, and any suggestions for an alternative? Ours sits at 12.4v so might be time to change it as it’s still the original one.

Do you put it on hook up regularly? Do you have AC hook up? Many Beaches, including mine, don't. Might consider @Roger Donoghue 's solar installation to keep things going before changing the battery, unless a test has shown it's failing.

The Varta battery supplied to VW is Black, but the replacement from Varta is Silver.

That’s great, just under £150 on eBay so cheaper than I thought

I have the same original battery as in the phote, but it isn't AGM. Do I need to recode anything if changing to AGM?
