Beach driveaway awning kit

Can someone tell me - do I need a figure of 8 as well as the kador strip to fit a driveaway awning to my Beach, 2019 year? or can I just slide a kador strip into the channel on the van?

Figure of 8 will make it much easier to ‘drive away ‘ if you are leaving the awning on site, if going out for the day

Thank you I've received kit by Westfield which has figure of eight - 7mm (UK 6mm) but doesn't fit the channel - too big.

Check thenthreads on kador for the ideal diameter to stop the strip pulling out of the rail...

I've worked it out now - the Kador strip goes into the channel. Thanks for your help anyway.
