Beach newbie!

Hello all,

The family and I picked up our 6 month old Beach on Saturday from a local VW centre, can’t wait to star using it to its full potential!

We did ponder over the Ocean (my wife liked the dash board and seat covers), but we felt we wouldn’t use the kitchen and as avid campers before, would probably prefer the extra space in the living area for the kids etc.

First commute to work this morning in heavy standstill traffic, I guy shouts over from his works van “nice van mate”! Never had that for any of our previous vehicles.

Anyway, off now to research all the bits and pieces I should already no about the van!

Plenty of Information for you to read through regarding fitting out your California for camping. Just don't get too carried away. It can become expensive.

Welcome on board Richard. Enjoy the van and start getting used to complements as well (complements from people who can identify it as a beach , for the others it is just another big people carrier/van).

That's the beauty of the Cali - daily commute as well as a.weekend getaway.
