Beach Roof Mechanism - Black Rollers

we’ve had our Beach 2 years but have just noticed that the 2 Black rollers that guide the roof mechanism are loose - in fact one side had popped off and the crunching noise as it caught in the mechanism highlighted the issue.

we also found a washer loose in the recess where the roof fits

does anybody know please if they are supposed to be loose or am I missing a part that holds them in place?

has anyone seen a schematic for the Beach roof mechanism?
