Bed with 2 rear seats, does it work?

I have the 2 additional seats in the rear of my California making it a 7 seater.

I’m thinking of going camping with the kids this weekend, but haven’t done the bed set up with the seats in there. Has anyone done this and does it work Ok?

Any pointers to previous messages, YT vids, or photos welcome.

I have 3 kids, so was planning on them all going ‘across’ the bottom bed as opposed to lengthways.

Converting my Beach from 5 seat camping mode to 7 seat MPV mode, I decided to play around with the options for making the lower bed with all five rear seats. For size reference, the mattress photographed is 150 x 200 cm. Remove all five headrests #1 short bed: shortened multiflex, bench seat...

The best way is with the full length multiflex, the bench seat folded forward, and seats 6 & 7 folded.

This creates a king size bed, 1.5m wide and 2.0m long.

If your children are all under 10, sideways will work, otherwise longways will be fine.
