bigger wheels ?

Hello - I wonder if anyone can help me - I'm exploring wheel options for our 204 t6 4m. I am trying to understand what the maximum wheel width I can go to and with what offset ? I believe that Land Rover wheels are used but I see that they generally are 8.5 or 9 width and that is of course bigger than the 8 that Vw supply as max for the car - I'm not sure it's relevant but I am also planning to put vb air suspension on

Hi Tim, friends of mine have 20" range rover wheels 9" with 275/ 40/ 20 tyres. slit rube. my self have 19" VW Amarok wheels 8" with 255/ 45/ 19 tyres no rube. Like you said Tim offset, look for 45 offset. Range rover over finch

Thanks for that - I love the black black and black looks great - so I might get away with 8.5 inch width and 45 offset do you think ? Tim

VW main dealer in Germany offered me a choice of 9x20 et42, 9x20 et45 or 9.5x20 et45 in conjunction with 275/35R20 tyres, lowered suspension (Bilstein B14)and TUV approval. Not sure if TUV approval would have been given if there was any rubbing going on. S

Thankyou that's really useful - I think you're right on the rubbing approval - we should leave that for the peugeots !!
