"Bike Porn"-your rides and how/where you use them

The pain cave where magic happens, managed at few decent results in Elite this year in Sweden, not bad for 39

Looks lovely, I ummed over Eagle but with no hills in Sweden and normally racing close to 5w\kg I decided I could still turn over my XTR ;)

Very jealous. Haven't bought any bike stuff for a few years now due work and not being able to ride.

Zwift for me if the back is up to it. Tried to get on there tonight but laptop went Into update mode so went for a 4km run. Now sore.

5w/kg would equate to 625watts for me. :help

Well just treated myself to another Cannondale Scalpel. This time a carbon SI 2.

Have dropped my weight down by 10kg in last 45days and aiming to get back to suitable racing weight in preparation for some 3hr Enduro races over the winter.

That sounds a bit drastic, almost unhealthy? How’d you lose so much so quickly? I was pleased to lose 2kg!!

No cyclocross? Judging by you avatar, thought you’d be doing that?

The advantage or disadvantage of being tall, big build and an ex rower. Surprised myself on how quickly I've lost the weight.

Using my calorie app and limiting myself to 2400 calories a day. Also back running (park runs), on Zwift, swimming and a bit of body balance. Feel a lot better and sleep a lot better in the California.

I don't mine cyclo cross if I can stay on the bike. Getting on and off is a pain.

Well done on losing that much, must have made a huge difference on the bike too.

I'm well into CX season now....got a day off work today to improve bike handling skills as I don't like getting off either! When it gets too technical, it's currently quicker (for me) if I run it, so I lose a lot of places during a race.

I've used the guy before and he transformed my MTB skills.....far better investment than me spending money on the bike.

The Thule 929 works fine in that regard, the holder goes down almost horisontal.

You can always twist the bars and run them parallel with the top tube.
I do this when I’m taking clients bikes on the Cali.

Well down another 5kgs but the last month has been hard.
