Blind touch up silver paint ?

Our kitchen area roll up blind had some white deposits on it from years of use. An attempt to wipe it clean with a soapy cloth resulted in the deposit coming away with the silver paint, so we now have a black area.
So my new plan is to find one of those silver marker pens, to see if that can refurb the area.
Has anyone else had this issue before and have any advice eg silver spray to use etc?

And... it worked, though the silver pen is a bit more glossy, so need a matt pen ideally
