Blinking coil lamp

Wanted to share experience. We had a blinking g “coil” lamp popping up. Disappeared after turning engine off and on one of our trips then reappeared a week later.

VW managed to find a broken pipe/ hose somewhere and replaced it under warranty.

The orange coil light flashing or permanent light up is always a "go to a dealer" warning and this can be various things .
I had it once and it turned out a sensor in the exhaust failiure...

Probably a split EGR flexible pipe. Not uncommon on early T6’s. VW redesigned it, in I believe 2019.

ours was a sensor.

Can be the rubber hoses between the dpf and the dpf differential pressure sensor or like I had the sensor itself.
