Bonnet bra

Just thinking of adding bonnet bra wanted to know if there any good and do protect bonnet and fit ok no lumps and bumps.
Have heard mixed views about dry and grit getting under them and causing damage to the paint.
On my old Cali I had a sign writing company add carbon 3m cover(stuck on) to bonnet to hide all the stone chips.
Any advice appreciated

hi, just taken my bonnet bra off and found a few bits, wasps dirt etc before i had it cleaned. Protected my bonnet while traveling but can't decide wether to put it on again !!!!! fitted well once warm but did have a bit of a bulge when driving sometimes.
