Hit the wing mirror on the wall reversing out the drive :headbang

Glass broken (7yrs :censor ), plastic casing kerackered, in-built aerial now an out-built aerial :crazy

On the plus side, it still folds :laugh2

I daren't think how much this is going to cost me :sad

On Reflection. Cali & Brick Wall - not a good mix

I had my drivers side mirror knocked by a passing van, a month or so ago (luckily he did not hit the awning as well :x ). The mirror popped out & hit the side window & survived but the cap & trim flew off never to be seen again (mirror swivel & aerial still worked).
Actual repair cost was/is not too bad. You are looking + ~ £85 plus cost of mirror glass
The cap & trim together cost (only) just over £20. It is getting the cap painted that is the sting in the tail (another £50);
Don't know part number for mirror glass but other bits(2010 Cali Drivers side) are;
25G3 Cap - W7E1 857 528 GG RU £17.34
N/Side Stock Trim - W7E1 857 604 B9 £3.92
WPAI NT (Painting Charge) £50

On the bright side luckily I did not have my arm or anything else hanging out of the window when the mirror was hit

:cool:

Thanks for the info. You have put my mind at ease, at least a little, anyway.
