Côte d’Azur in August

Planning trip from Eurotunnel to Côte d’Azur last 2 weeks in August with our 2 boys age 11 and 13.
Do you think temperature in the van will be 2 hot for comfortable sleeping at that time of year or does the canvas roof keep living area reasonably cool ?
Any suggestions for family sites in that area ?

Hot it will be for sure , but thats why you go there i guess?
If you go to a campsite look/ask for a spot in the shade/under trees .
Bring allong a tent and let the kids sleep there .
