Is it replacable without removing the glove box?
I have problem removing a bottom black trim cover.

I have problem removing a bottom black trim cover.

No you have to remove glove box, then remove lower cover.
You will see a narrow strip that goes across the underside of the heater matrix housing with a small bolt at one end, remove the bolt and then at the same end of the strip/cover as the bolt, reach up and unclip the end of the plastic cover and hinge down and out of the other end.
The pollen filter then can be reached and pulled straight downwards to remove.

Looks like no big advantage removing the glovebox other than for convenience and vision. The filter holder opening has other part of the frame in the way.
So some heavy deformations on the filter are required in order to squize it in. It spreads out evenly.
