Anne & I are planning May 2013 in Portugal and are looking for a half dozen good places for 4-5 day stays with the Cali. We've never been to Portugal.
From these bases we'd like to get onto a few beaches (we're now much too old to surf but might take out the odd Laser), get into a few old towns, walk a bit and sample local fare (or anything else that emerges as interesting). I think we'd prefer coast to inland but maybe not exclusively.
I think we'd prefer established sites rather than wilding for most of the time.
A couple of other threads in this section have given advice on some general areas and that's useful, thanks. We'd welcome info, though, on specific sites if anybody has any. We've browsed ukcampsite.com and have ACCSI 2011 which give a few pointers but we'd value, a lot, direct and recent experiences.
Any pointers on May weather, too.
