Hi all,
Just thought I'd share a cautionary tale. I came back from work yesterday to find our brand new California unlocked on the street and realised it must have been that way all day. Quite a fright! Luckily nothing had been taken.
Turns out that the range of the key fob is much further than on our previous car and it can easily be unlocked from inside our house. Indeed, sitting down with the keys in my jeans pocket alongside some other keys was sufficient to press the button and quietly unlock the van outside.
Needless to say, my keys are kept elsewhere now!
Cheers,
Simon
