Cali with seats only?

Just got off the Dover Calais ferry and spotted a California marque on the back of a T5 that only had seats in. Y reg, poss a personal plate.

Is this right? I thought that Cali's were only fully fitted campers.....

Have to say the marque didn't look quite right, but the A20 is not the place to have a looksee at your own rear end to compare!
