Looking for levellers for my Cali. I don't want them to be to big and bulky but of a good quality. Are the Thule ones mentioned on the forum the right ones ???? Can anyone please help please ? :thanks

I have the Thule ones - they are quite big, probably bigger than you will need for the Cali, unless you park on a mountain.

However they do fit nicely in the gap between the under the seat drawer and the kitchen unit from the boot (unless you have fitted one of those extra drawers described on this forum somewhere)

Also they come in a nice bag - and are the cheapest branded ones I could find.

T

I use the small fiamma chocks and to date never needed anything more and they are compact and fit in the seat drawer with bags of room to spare :)

+1 for the Thules - black (i.e. not yellow...!), come in a handy bag, they work.

Up on our milenco triples as I type this, first time on the highest step, anything smaller wouldn't have got us level here!

we bought the fiamma level up blocks grey - a pain carrying them round admittedly, but come the day you need them they are indispensable !

Thule ones got their first outing when returning from the Champagne meet :D

Used the full height of the Thule ones as well.

I have just bought Fiamma level up size 57cm x 20 cm x 13 xm, it says that there should be 10mm on each side of the tyres for the ramps to be wide enough.

I have thunder wheels on my California which are only just fitted this ramp not much space on each side at all! :? Are they the correct size?

There is always the Jumbo size which could take up loads of boot space! What size did you guys get for your Californias?

We also have the small Fiamma ones and yes there is some over hang, this should be OK for a few days but I would not be happy leaving them on them for longer than that.

We did used to have the jumbo ones which were pefect for the tyre size but they are three times the size and take up loads of room!! Saying all that we have hardly ever used ours since owning the Cali and I am tempted to leave them at home in the future.

Thanks for your reply, the small ones, are they Fiamma Level Pro or Level up?

I think they are just the standard level up ones, they came in a carry bag with a couple of chocks.

I have the basic fiamma ones, used them a lot recently. Never used to carry them but do now. Yes tyres do hang off the edges a bit & as Martin says probably not an issue for a few days.

I had to use levellers and bricks at Durdle Door and it still wasnt level!

I did warn you Oli  We had same problem when we were there and with breeze blocks and Fiamma levellers and the kettle still kept sliding off the ring. It's worth it though for the views :thumb
