At Hotel California's suggestion we dropped in to the above on our way back from Norway.
Wow, what a place, only wish we had somewhere like this here in the UK.
We had long chat with Rob, who seems to be the boss. These guys REALLY know what they are talking about and are passionate about the Cali.
We bought a few bits and pieces while there including one of the draining boards mentioned elswhere and some plastic grids for the fridge. These are said to reduce the problem with stuff freezing at the back of the fridge and water gathering at the bottom as they are designed to allow the air to circulate better. Rob assured us that they really do work. Only just fitted them now back at home so time will tell.
I'd certainly encourage anyone passing nearby to call and have a look round.
Few pictures here.

Nothing to add ....
Glad you took my advice and visited them.
Would recomend everyone ever going thru Holland to make a detour passing there .
A whole new Cali-world would open...

I may well make a special trip there as Albert's " mains hookup - no battery charging " problems are manifesting themselves again,

Last year my vehicle was 35 days off the road with this problem. I think those guys are going to be my best bet.

What is the last picture of Brian? It looks like a cover for the cooker only. Do they have separate covers for the cooker and sink available? Simon

Bought our Cali here. Great place for advise, maintenance and parts. They did our motor and DSG tuning as well. It is good to know you have a fine dealer while the car is great but not flawless.....

He mentioned a draining board..
Thanks Loz. That'll teach me not try to read small print on my phone and to use a screen next time.

I ordered one of the draining boards and their own collapsible ladder for accessing the top bunk. Both items are excellent and their service was first class.

For some reason I find it so hard to believe there are so few dealers out there who like their job in a way it even pleases the customers. But it's the truth. In the short time I own a Cali I have visited 5 VW dealers and specialised workshops and only the VCC in Amersfoort seem to be fair, well informed, and helpfull.

Completely agree . They are Super professional.

Old thread, but the only dedicated one I could find...
There's a 50-50 chance we'll have time to pop by Camper Centrum en route to the Hull ferry. Can anyone suggest any essential accessories to seek out that are not readily available in the UK? There might just be space in the van next to the beers.
(I've already got the funny-shaprd 'bin' thing for the kitchen - we use it for storage).

The bin is a top buy, only avail at Campercentrum, but you’ve already got it. They also sell the following Berger stools for around €20 which stow in the tailgate between the Cali chairs.

We visited last summer. Thread here:

Thanks - that was the thread I was looking for, which I now realise I'd book-marked anyway. I made the mistake of spelling it with two words rather than one :-/

Het is de beste die er in Nederland bestaat
Ik heb mijn California Ocean daar gekocht en de service is 100%top

Success!
Although traffic chaos on the way meant it was a flying visit only :-/
The staff were indeed very helpful, and justifiably proud of their special bins.
We're about 2 years into ownership so have most things we need, but still came away with a flyout screen for the panoramic window and a washing line. I'd agree it's worth researching first and taking a list, but they do still ship to the UK.
