Tickets even arrived in N.Ireland today quick question as 1st time for us do you need cash or do the stall holders etc take contactless?

Cash is a good idea (not loads , just a bit, unless you intend to spend a lot )

A few years ago the cash point was run dry, traders could not accept card payments etc so there was some frustration all around.

Last year seemed to be OK as far as card payments.

Also No Glass at All , make sure if you bring Alcohol it’s in plastic, tins etc. or decant it into plastic bottles

I get they don't want people wandering around with bottles but surely if my wine bottle or marmalade jar doesn't leave my van that's ok isn,t it? This is my first time camping at an event like this and now I am wondering if I have made a mistake.

The show is so big and everyone has phones so the local mobile network can be overwhelmed, so I would advise everyone to take plenty of cash if they can.

Just looking at juggling commitments and may be booking up.
It'll be our first experience, but its one of a few that allow you to take dogs... and has a dog show so herself is happy.
If we do miss out we'll be on the list early next year

I hadn't ordered tickets because I wanted -and arranged- as many leave days as possible to visit Sicily in July. The drive there and back would take quite a few days for me so I decided not to order tickets this year.
Anyway, Sicily is not going on now either because I fell badly with my bike 3 weeks ago and my ligaments left shoulder are completely through, also a firm cut in my forehead and bruised ribs. But there is worse in the world than that, I’m getting better every day and for a moment I thought to maybe order last minute tickets but with sick leave I am not allowed to travel and it would not be so pleasant with the damage suffered. So unfortunately definitely no camper jam this year.
I still hope for a leave to travel with our cali in July even if it will be less long.
For those who would doubt: don’t! Buy those last tickets and go. Have fun there!

Thank you. It's getting better and I hope to still be able to take a summer trip, maybe the German Alpine route when I'm sufficiently healed. That's closer than Sicily
