Camping Alps

[Canyon]

Hi All,

we are looking to take Campy McCampface across to France for the first time this summer. Keen for a dog/kid friendly place in Alps (prefer lakes/mountains/forest to beaches)

many recommendations on good campsites would be much appreciated. Similarly any definite no-no’s would be great.

Yep .
We have had many holidays in the alps in our camper vans
Camping lescale in le grand bornand is a great site .
In the mountains About 50k from annecy ,stunning scenery.
We have stayed in both summer for sunny holidays and winter for snowboarding .
Definitely recommended
