Campsites for France & Italy

We are driving to Greece early April and will be travelling to Ancona, Italy to catch the ferry. We are planning on stopping for one night on route near Dijon in France & then 1 night in Alessandria, Italy. Can anyone recommend any campsites that they may have stayed at near these areas.

In Dijon area, we have often stayed at the Beaune municipal campsite.

It’s worth joining ACSI camping card. Mainly for off season but thousands of sites to choose from in many countries. Maximum you will pay is 24€ . The app is worth the money on its own.

Not a campiste, but we found it great for an overnight, was an aire in Noyers.
There is a campsite there also, but not sure when it operates.
It's a gorgeous little medieval town/village

Getting sites open in early April might limit your choice. ACSI is a good shout - quick look gives you a bit of choice around Dijon.

I would suggest using one of the camper van site apps ….. Park4Night or CamperContact…… there are plenty of sites/Aires to choose from to suit your need/times etc and you can filter based on amenities and reviews etc
