We used a "stacking" car park in France once......we didn't realise until we were at the "lift" door. We had to get out, get our stuff and stand back as our car was pulled into the lift and disappeared! When we returned we were able to watch the process in reverse as it was retreived!!

Not as glamerous as these though.
