Maybe when flights start again and foreign holidays get cheap, because countries are desperate for the tourist pound, staycations will be the old new normal. Perhaps they’ll be reporting ”there has been a surge in people buying up lockdown campervan conversions to transform them in to work vans and minibuses“.

All we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

Facebook’s starting to fill with reports and pictures of the mayhem on UK’s roads and service stations. Some new people saying this wasn’t what they got a van for and wish they hadn’t bothered, especially with the pants weather down in the SW today and the hope of being able to jet off to the sun soon.
