Caravelle... not beach

Hi Everyone,

I don't have a California, but a Caravelle which is essentially like a Beach but with two sliding doors, 7 seats and no pop-top
I'm posting this so I can reply to someone selling an awning.
Maybe one day I'll get a California.

Welcome. Just get a Pop Top, even a genuine California roof as some have done.

What's so different about a genuine California roof from say a Skyline please?

The California roof Replaces the present roof, whereas all the other 3rd party roofs - a hole is cut in the present roof and the pop top shell sits over the hole, thus adding extra height to the vehicle.
