Coffee explosion in van

Oh thanks TripleBee, do you have any links or part numbers ? Would like to replace them as I don’t think it will ever be the same again, even considered getting a new van lol.
If you share your VIN number with me, I could check the right numbers. I searched for my own van, but they could be different.

This topic is hot news on Google’s news feed. Less important that the Dear Leader’s wrist watch, but more important than JRM’s utterances.

No VIN, so searched on MY 2016.
Front lining: 7E7 867 501 D (€ 374)
lining under bed: 7E7 067 076 (€357)
if necessary, the plastic clips to hold the lining under the bed on the side: N 902 016 01 Y20 (€ 0.57 per piece)

If you do end up replacing the parts, the stained ones will obviously need removing before the new ones can go on. Perhaps that argues to take them off ASAP as being able to handle them properly, perhaps attacking from both sides would vastly improve your chance of getting the originals cleaned up, and saving all that cash.

Hi all,
My espresso maker has just exploded in my van ruining the ceiling ( underside of top bed ) and marking a lot of the trim around the cab. Can I get a replacement for ceiling ? I can’t imagine any cleaning products that will tackle this ? View attachment 48609

If it helps I would agree the stay is a little better than the foam. I usually have first go (trying to get the worst off) then have another go a few days later after it has dried out.

On a side note have used the autoglym autofresh , this is good for removing lingering odours as well.
Vanish / Steam cleaner should do it...

On bright side you can now not worry about fry ups in van ! I would feel same as you though and have had a few FFS moments myself, think I would do diy clean like you and just get liner bits replaced or covered when it comes to sell , sods law you'll replace now and something else happens.

A good tip for removing stains whilst protecting the fabric is baby wipes. We use all the time. Worked on a wine stain and tea drips on white carpet and clothing. Good luck Dixie. I feel for you. But least you have a solution even if it’s an expensive option.

You can rent a carpet cleaner machine, with furniture part(suction mouth). I cleaned al my seats with it and afterwards our couch, carpet etc. It works incredible well! I am sure you will get all the dirt out of your roof, and is not expensive!

If a valeting service can’t get that out, perhaps a conversion specialist can recover it for you. It’s a pain but I guess you could view it as customization opportunity!

I would just let it dry out now that the 'superficial' is cleaned up and let the professional valleters check it out....I'm sure they will be able to help
