I have some campsites booked for August and September. One of the Campsites Hook up is 10 amp, to be wary of overloading and tripping the supply. Can anyone tell me the wattage of the fridge in the California Coast 2022 model. Thanks

You’ll be fine. Fridge is around 4amps tops.

We’ve been on a 6 amp hook up and survived. Just be wary about plugging in anything else (like a kettle, hair dryer etc) over 1kW at the same time as the fridge, as you’ll be close to 10amps.

To calc stuff yourself, look at the rating of the device in Watts (Power), and Amps = Power/ Volts. So 1kW = 1000 Watts and 1000/240 = 4.2 Amps.

The fridge is powered by the leisure battery, on the Ocean and I assume the Coast is the same, so when it shows 4A being used by the fridge that is the draw from the battery not what it’s using from hook up. You can easily run 1kW of appliances from a 6A supply.
