I have a black one from circa 2016. Are the awning rooms now made from a lighter weight material? Mine is great but quite heavy and inflexible when stowing in the van.

Can anyone provide me with a packed weight please?

When setting up on hard standing, presume the plastic pegs for skirting need replacing with rock pegs?

Yes as they are pretty much useless. I love using the all grass pitches now when I know I’m taking my awning room.

Is it essential to peg down the skirt bit? I’m using for first time this weekend on hardstanding unfortunately

I personally would but I have used it without when the wind is mild. Not only does it stop the draughts but also gives the awning a bit more stability if the wind picks up.

Ill have to try this way next time I use the awning room. I usually put the toggles through from the inside and use the same peg for the bungee straps and the skirt which works well too.
