Unfortunately it is a very fine ribbon cable that starts to lose its connection to the display, I think you would need a very fine tipped soldering iron, perhaps a magnifying glass and some skill to fix it. My standard soldering iron is certainly not up to the job.

Hello,
I've use this instruction to fix my control panel.
It's not an easy job but every body can try, what are you gonna loose...broken for broken.
Let's fix it !!!
