Staying at beautiful campsite, Trevellas Manor Farm outside St Agnes and after 4 days of typical cornish weather (mist, mizzle, wind, sunshine) the predicted wind and rain started about 12 hours ago.
I was sleeping upstairs with my 6 year old, noisy but not too bad (although when I popped downstairs it was so much cosier!)
And then the rain continued, horizontally, heavier, non stop.
I've had to shut the roof for 2 reasons. First is that water was blowing in through the top vent but worse was that the rain was permeating through the canvas and around the zips of the windows.
Given quite how bad the wind and rain is I'm not surprised, I'm just hoping it stops by bedtime.
Still, I'm thankful I'm not one of the many people setting up tents who are thoroughly soaked.
Not one of the things I miss about living in Cornwall!
