Cramer hob problem

Hi, can anyone help me? I have a 2008 VW California T4 and one of the hob burners won't stay lit. The hob/sink is a CRAMER 8R,8K - 986 01 Filakono Model EK 2000. I have tried swapping the thermocouples around but still the same problem with the same burner. If I play a kitchen blow torch on the thermocouple it stays lit for a few seconds after turning off the blow torch then the thermocouple switch clunks off. The position of the thermocouple tip in the flame looks the same on both sides.
What could be the problem and the answer? Is the thermocouple switch faulty?
This model isn't made anymore. I could buy a new small Dometic/Smev double hob for £200 or so and try replacing all the gas fittings under the hob base? I could try replacing the thermocouple? (For £44)
Or should I try playing with the position of the thermocouple tip?
Anyone had the same problem? How was it solved? I've already wasted £80 on a specialist campervan business who told me nothing could be done because no spares were available.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

The thermocouple, when heated creates a small voltage, at the other end of The thermocouple should be a small electric coil, probably part of the control valve, the voltage holds this coil closed allowing the gas to flow, so new coil/valve is needed

I replaced thermocouple on my Cali , I think it cost £20.
A universal one.
Hi there, would be really interested to where you got this from + any tips you could offer? I need to replace mine (cali 2007 ) and don’t fancy paying £60/£70 each. Many thanks
