DAB Aerial

The plan is to order a new Cali with the standard RCD 310 stereo and upgrade to a RNS 510 myself (done similar before).

My question is is it worth ordering the DAB upgrade so I have the DAB aerial in preparation for the 510.

Will it be the same aerial used for the RNS 510?

Or

Is it easy enough to install the DAB aerial afterwards anyway?

The antenna is mounted in one of the door mirrors so better to have it from the factory.

Finding a second hand RNS 510 is not simple, they are quite rare and command a premium price.

DAB RNS 315 are more common.

In the end I upgraded to a non DAB 510, and I carry a mini dab radio for the test match

I've not seen a 510 DAB but my guess is that it will be a FAKRA style connector and likely the same across platforms.
