It seems very dark at the back.
I need better lighting to do the dogs, any ideas?

You could stick a LED strip right behind the overhead locker, linked to the spotlight beside the locker.
The dog on the left needs new batteries. (The one on the right obviously is using Duracells.)

I fitted one of these a few years ago. The light bar swivels, so is good for loading the back and, as we sleep down stairs, can be used as a reading light when reflected off the rear blind.

That would work and is a lot cheaper than the German one, except it doesn't look as if it swivels.fairly cheap and LED option which could simply be plugged int 12v socket as it has an on/off switch.

You'd need a Cigar socket plug and wire probably but these are available with built in fuse if required.
