Hi all,
Is it necessary to disconnect the split charge relay when installing a dc to dc charger. I will be fitting lithium batteries with internal BMS having a maximum charge of 14.6 volts.
The split charge voltage is slightly lower than this.
Will leaving it connected just confuse the dc to dc charger. (Just wondering if you can take advantage to gain higher charge rate)
Easy enough to do I assume you just remove the trigger wire.
Thanks in advance
