Deleting panel faults? (F12)

I have a fault code F12 in my overhead panel, which should mean either Lock out or Overheating of the aux heater (Webasto?). Is there a way to delete the code? I have tried the following:

Start heater, unplug fuse, restart heater.
Start, stop, wait a few minutes and restart.
Tried to scan the OBDII, but it doesn't talk to the California part of the car.

Did you check that all the fuses were whole?

I understood it was only the older units that’s stored codes?

Give the guy at PF Jones a call, he’s pretty clued up on these things. I think there is a dongle you can buy to clear codes?
