Dent - what next?

Looks a different design to the one on the left. Maybe try swapping them? Or put the middle on in first then the outer 2?

Ah, no. The picture shows the left hole with just the plug, the middle hole with the plug and half inserted screw and the right hole has nothing inserted.

I would still remove the left plug and try again, changing the order of insertion if necessary.

I booked a self employed gent to glue pull out the dent yesterday via the smart repair people.
Really good job - no sign of the dent at all. A slight scratch remains for those with very good eyes and a magnifying glass. £240.

It means he didn’t need to access inside and I removed the wardrobe panel for nothing! Worse, I can’t now put it back. Those pesky plastic fittings won’t reinsert. The hole is slightly off-centre, so I guess that won’t be helping, but it was like that before I started messing about with it. I can get the ‘splayed plug’ in, but when I try to reinsert the hex screw it just won’t budge, whether screwing, pushing or both.

Hammer?

Pleased to hear it's fixed.
Personally I found that I was able to stress (a bit) less about where I parked the van once I established that most dents were repairable via PDR. Ferry trips are still a test of my nerves though :-/
