DIY Privacy Glass Film - anyone done it?

Hi everyone

I'm the proud new owner of a 2007 Cali having gone into a VW dealer looking for a used Passat Estate - but that's another story......

Anyhow, my 'new' Cali unfortunately does not have privacy glass and I was wondering if anyone had fitted the DIY privacy glass film that is freely available on the web at very reasonable cost.

I had some samples sent to me and they look fine and I'm quite handy so thought I'd be able to do a fairly good job of fitting the film but wondered if anyone else had experience of this or tips to share?

Seb, that would be my thoughts also. Pay a professional to do it properly.

I had my A4 done shortly after I got it and after watching it it's not something I think I could do, at least not to any great standard, and I'll have a go at most things.

Did my old van back windows then ripped it all off and got someone that does it a day long to do it properly ..its a Cali fella and if not done 100% it will look pants ...
