My wife's dog has an EU passport and I have been driving him to the EU and back for many years, before and after Brexit.
The UK pet passport is now worthless but with an EU pet passport, Brexit brought no change.

just remember to go to a vet to get the antiworm pill and stamp the passport 24-120hrs before crossing back.
